Around 200million years ago the area we now know as
Whitby was covered by sea. The sea was full of huge marine
reptiles, ammonites, belemnites and bivalves, the remains
of which are abundant along these shores today. Join us on
one of the following events - you might even find the
remains of a great marine reptile!
