Objectives

Our objectives are:

• To care for and develop the collections building up our knowledge of them so that we hand them on to the next generation improved and enhanced.
• To give more access to more collections for more people, through displays as well as through publication including the web.
• To put real learning with real museum objects at the very heart of all we do.
• To build communities of interest with partners and other stakeholders in order to create a sustainable future for Scarborough’s collections.
• To add to our core funding through innovative, strategic fund-raising.
